Metal buttons are common items in our daily lives and are commonly used in clothing, shoes, bags, and other places. However, over time, metal buttons are prone to rusting, discoloration, and other phenomena. The main reason why metal buttons do this is because they will react with water through oxidation, so as long as possible, avoiding contact with water can prevent metal buttons from discoloring. Perhaps someone will say, 'This is not nonsense, don't you wash your clothes?' Don't worry, ladies and gentlemen, and listen to me slowly. How can you prevent the metal buttons from fading when washing clothes? The method is actually very simple. A small piece of cling film can solve the problem. By utilizing the good stickiness of the cling film, the button can be completely isolated from contact with air and water during operation. Now let's talk about how to operate it
Firstly, cut off the cling film according to the size of the metal button. The size of the cling film should be twice the width of the button, and the length should be about twice the width. Cut the cling film into strips. Then lay the cut cling film flat on the button and wrap the entire button. Gently twist the wrap between the cling film and the button, so that there is no air between the cling film and the button. In fact, as long as you pull the cling film flat and directly touch the button surface, it will be firmly attached. As long as the cling film is attached to the button, it can isolate air. Then, simply cross the plastic wrap on both sides of the button and the clothes in two circles to create a knot, and you are done. After doing so, when you go to wash clothes again, the metal buttons will not fade due to the isolation effect of the cling film and cannot come into contact with water. Have you learned the simple and practical method of keeping the color of the small button steady. It should be noted that plastic wrap must be used here. If other plastic wrap is not sticky, the isolation effect may not be ideal.
